CAPS 13 is a local television station that can be seen by residents of the Pittsburg area through Cox Communications. You can access the station on channel 13.

CAPS 13 consists of original productions created by Pittsburg State University students. The students are in charge of directing, producing, writing, and creating packages. In addition, they do all of their own camera work and provide their own commentary when necessary.

PSU productions air five days a week from Monday to Friday. Many of the productions are first taped, and then edited in the post-production process. However, a few exceptions, such as GorillaVision are done completely live.

Unfortunately it is impossible to feature Pittsburg State productions 24/7. Therefore, a slideshow of campus pictures is shown when CAPS 13 is not on the air.
